Four Triangle Business Leaders Join WakeEd Partnership Board of Directors; Brad Geiger of Martin Marietta Elected Board Chair

RALEIGH, N.C. — WakeEd Partnership (WakeEd) announced today that Brad Geiger, Senior Manager of Talent Development at Martin Marietta has been elected Chair of its Board of Directors. Four other business leaders joined WakeEd’s Board of Directors effective July 1, 2024 for three-year terms. Board members joining WakeEd Partnership include:


Amy Manning, Senior Director and Head of Program Management, FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies
Shannon McSwiney, Director, Marketing & Communications, Delta Dental of North Carolina
James “Monte” Montague, President, F7 International Development
Andrea Wun, Director of Recruitment, Construction Partners, Inc.

New Board Chair Brad Geiger serves as the Head of Talent Development at Martin Marietta, an international mining organization with over 9,000 employees headquartered in Raleigh. Geiger is a seasoned leader in Learning and Development with over 20 years of experience in corporate training and development, as well as teaching at the college and university levels.
