Wake Education Partnership has a proud 32-year history as a leading facilitator for connecting business and community resources with the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS).
Our efforts to create a better school system have put more than a million dollars directly into the hands of teachers, encouraged best practices throughout the school system, and informed our community of the great things happening in WCPSS. Now, we are excited to announce Wake Education Partnership is rebranding as WakeEd.
This process began one year ago, when WakeEd went through an organizational assessment, funded through a John Rex Endowment grant. The grant helped us develop a new bold Strategic Focus — a document detailing why we exist, our mission, vision, priorities and goals. More than ever, we are focused on working to engage, inform and mobilize our community to work with WCPSS in providing excellent educational opportunities for every student.
Working with BC/DC marketing, we developed our new logo which shows how WakeEd brings together the many community voices and focuses them towards a shared goal. You can learn more about our new brand image in our post on connecting the dots.
This was a long process, and we believe the final product is worth it. We are confident these changes will help us reach the broader Wake County community and ultimately help us reach our vision of ensuring every student graduates with the skills to succeed in a global economy.
Thank you for your continued involvement in WakeEd Partnership.
